Taylor started in 1927 and is one of the only privately held manufacturers of material handling equipment operating in the USA today. Our product line consists of over 100 models of diesel and electric forklifts, reach stackers, and container handling equipment for port operations, intermodal, and steel industries, to name a few. We don’t only manufacture, but we design and engineer in addition to providing high quality after-market support worldwide.

As Taylor continues to expand our footprint globally, we recognize that Africa is a very important market because of its large population, growing economy, diverse natural resources, and vast industries; therefore, we must have a presence on the continent.

We at Taylor plan to continue expanding our distribution and product line globally. As a result of the ever-changing manufacturing environment and the influence of electric vehicle technology, we have felt an immense responsibility to design and manufacture zero-emission material handling equipment that would integrate seamlessly into the existing customer workflow. We are presently producing a 16-ton forklift and a 2^nd generation loaded container handler and will have several more models coming up soon.
